Welcome To Los Barrancos de Aptos
Los Barrrancos de Aptos came into being July 17th, 1964 from Tract #384, Volume 40 of Maps on Page 92.  Originally the oceanside estate of John and  Julia King.  The subdivision was designed to complement and preserve the natural beauty and privacy, and to provide:
  • Underground power and telephone service to insure an unmarred landscape
  • Isolation from adjoining residential areas by wood ravines, owned by the Home Owners Association
  • Permanent access to the beach
  • All improvements paid for in full; no bond assessments
  • Private roadways, constructed to county standards, to preserve seclusion and to prevent outside use of extensive recreational facilities
  • Carefully designed lots, with wide variety of building sites
Los Barrancos de Aptos is composed of both single family homes and condominiums.

Los Barrancos is conveniently located in the heart of picturesque mid-Santa Cruz County area, immediately adjacent to Aptos and La Selva Beach.  Only 15 minutes drive east to Watsonville, 15 minutes to Santa Cruz, and 40 minutes to either San Jose or the Monterey Peninsula.

Los Barrrancos features a swimming pool, tennis courts, maintained roads and storm drains, foot access to the beach, common areas, and an architectural review process.
